Weezer have announced their fall tour itinerary in support of this year’s self-titled “Red” album. The five-week tour is the band’s first in three years and kicks off in Boston on September 23. Their hit single “Pork And Beans” just wrapped up an 11 week run at #1 on the Modern Rock radio charts. Opening all dates will be Angels and Airwaves and Canadian indie rockers Tokyo Police Club.
In other Weezer news, the band will play another “Hootenanny” show with their fans in Los Angeles on Monday, August 11, as well as a pair of Japanese dates in mid-September.
