Michael John Mills is a Singer/Songwriter/Guitarist from Hagerstown,Md. who has played with several supporting acts as a Lead Guitarist with groups such as Switchfoot.
The Michael John Mills Band hits home with songs “So Far Away”, “Good Conversation”, and brand new song “Way Down Inside”.
The Michael John Mills Band has been together since 2004. Michael’s first self titled EP came out in 2004. to be followed by “Only a Tease” in 2005. “Only a Tease” is available at all CD Baby online affilliates, and “So Far Away” is available at all Tunecore online affilliates.
Since the inception of the band, Michael’s goal was and still is to write and play songs that mean something substantial in all our lives, and to meld several types of music into a relevant package. 
According to Michael, “Modern Rock has taken many interesting vibes in the last 20 years, and will always do that to some degree, so “we” wanna be in on it!”
Three of Michael’s songs off the “Only a Tease” CD has broken the top 25 in the Rock genre of “American Idol Underground”.
The band has played on and been interviewed by DCTV 20 Washington,DC. The band was featured on the TV show “Celebrity Spotlight”. Michael is now recording new tracks for upcoming EP.
