Insignia is an anomaly of the Canadian Indie Rock scene. Refusing to be pigeon holed into a single category; Insignia combine elements of Funk, Metal and Reggae into a Rock context. Converting audiences wherever they play, Insignia commit themselves to every performance with a level of energy and passion that can be felt on and off the stage. Truly a sum of its parts, the thundering drums of Larry Greczi and the power house bass of Phil Mercer are the driving force behind the band. The impassioned vocals of Chris D’Aloisio and blistering guitar of Rich Greczi push the limits of the audience with a rare combination of musicianship and soul. There is no easy way to describe Insignia so rather than try they simply invite you to listen. This is truly a band that must be felt to be heard.
